Compiled from staff reports

The School of Mass Communication (SMC) at Loyola University of New Orleans will host college students and professionals from the Greater New Orleans Area at its annual SMC Networking Night at Loyola event on Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

SMC Networking Night at Loyola is an opportunity for students to speak with professionals in the Greater New Orleans Area in need of interns. Though the SMC sponsors this event, it is open to all students. The event will take place on the 4th Floor in Studio A of the Communications/Music Complex at 6363 St. Charles Ave. The attire for this event is business professional and is free of charge to students.

Local entrepreneur and SMC alumnus James Lambert said, “Networking Night offers students the ability to connect with some of New Orleans’ best employers and Loyola alumna.” Lambert is currently the founder and CEO of Concierge Solutions, an application development startup focused on connecting the service and hospitality industry.
