The British Car Club held its 24th annual car show on Delgado’s City Park campus Saturday, March 22.  The show featured over 120 participants competing in different categories.  There were all types of British cars from charming Minis to powerful Jaguars.

They have been holding the show on campus for several years now and the club has a special connection with Delgado.  Not only do they host the show on our campus every year, they also give scholarships to Delgado Automotive students.  Each fall automotive students fill out a questionnaire and the recipients are chosen by members of the British Car Club.

The show was open to Delgado students and the public.  Prizes and awards were given out to the winning cars from each category.  There were also baked goods and souvenirs sporting a British theme.  If you missed out this year, they usually have the show every March, or you can find them at bmcno.org.  From their website you can visit a gallery of locally owned British cars and see their upcoming events.
